John C. Ricotta, President and Principal Broker
John C. Ricotta was born in New York City and raised in Southport, Ct. John attended Lawrence Academy and Boston University. A Chatham resident since 1978, John has worked full-time in real estate since 1979 specializing in the listing and sale of high-end properties.
After working for several successful Chatham real estate agencies, John embarked on his own in 1989 with the establishment of John C. Ricotta & Associates. Through the intervening years John and his associates have worked to develop and retain their exceptional reputation among our clients and the broader community.
John is active in the community and has served the Town of Chatham in a number of capacities. He has held positions on town committees including the Personnel Committee and a long tenure as Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman. He is a member of the non-profit Chatham Conservation Foundation. John has also served as a member of Champ Homes in Hyannis, assisting homeless or near homeless adults on Cape Cod find transitional housing in a safe and respectful environment.
A long-time member and former Men’s Club Champion at Eastward Ho! Country Club, John is a former member of the Nominating and Membership Committees. He served on the club’s long range planning committee, its Green’s committee, and two terms on its Board of Governors.
John also serves as a member of the Board of Corporators for the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank and the Board of Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation.
John is a current member of the Cape Cod and Islands Board of Realtors.
